According to Xml file Giant Rainbow Tree will cost 10 Farm Cash.

There are some reports of this tree locking up the Gift box.

Yesterday I was lucky enough to spend the day at Zynga and was really impressed with the facilities but more importantly the people. Everyone I met with or were able to see hard at work were passionate about the game and what they do.

Working Hard on Two Farms:

Here is the very tricky thing about the upcoming second farm in the English Countryside, only one farm will be ‘active’ at a time.

For example: If you plant Strawberries on your original farm and head on to work on your second farm in the English Countryside for a few hours, when you return to your original farm your Strawberries will still be freshly planted and have experienced no growth. We can speculate that nothing will happen on your farm (animals will stop maturing, trees will stop growing etc) while you are working on another. This means that you cannot simultaneously work both of your farms.

Neighbor Visitation:

When you fly to FarmVille English Countryside with Duke you will activate your second farm in the English Countryside. Neighbors will be able to visit you on both of your farms. However, your neighbors will only be able to visit the farm that you are currently on, or last worked on. This will be represented on the neighbor bar. Underneath each neighbor will be either a home symbol (representing that their origonal farm is active and growing) or a British Flag symbol (representing that their FarmVille English Countryside farm is active and growing).

So one of your farms will essentially be on pause at all times.

This means that you will have to choose which farm you want to experience growth when you are not playing. The farm you work on last, or leave after working on will stay active (while the other is paused).

For example: If you are going to sleep for the night and would like to have your FarmVille English Countryside crops grow, you plant crops on your FarmVille English Countryside farm and not go back to your original farm. This would have your FarmVille English Countryside ’active’. Neighbors will see a British Flag symbol beneath your picture in the neighbor bar and will only be able to help you on that farm.

Here are the key points of FarmVille English Countryside:

• FVEC will work as a second farm with a completely fresh start, so no you will not be able to access your current storage.
• You will need a lot of building materials to get started in FVEC so start saving up those Special Delivery Boxes!
• FVEC will have a story line of quests for you to complete, with some awesome rewards!
• Your progress in the story line can be seen on an interactive map where you will be able to see/help neighbors in their quests as well.
• FVEC will feature new Masterable Crops, Trees and Animals.
• FVEC will feature Sheep breeding that is different from any breeding we have already experienced. You will be able to create your own genealogy and create literally tens of thousands or even millions of different kinds of sheep!

People have reported seeing the Giant Mardi Gras tree from their Mystery Seedlings!

You may notice a pattern with these Mystery Seedlings that grow up to be Giant trees – they usually pop up right before the release of the event!

We know that Stumpgrinder mentioned in the latest FarmVille Podcast that we can look forward to an upcoming Mardi Gras theme. Do these Giant Mardi Gras Trees coming from Mystery Seedlings mean that the Mardi Gras event is just around the corner?

In a new sneak peak preview from the English Countryside, we hear word from our new friends Olivia, Professor Milton and Angus.

Apparently the villagers from the English Countryside will need our help breeding sheep with Angus, digging for artifacts with Professor Milton, and helping Olivia build a new Pub!

From this small notice, it looks like there will be a lot to do in the FarmVille English Countryside.

“The villagers of the English Countryside need you! Help Angus breed sheep, dig for artifacts with Professor Milton, or help Olivia build a new Pub.”

In an new notice from FarmVille’s English Countryside Facebook Fan Page, we hear from Angus the sheep breeder.

Angus lets us know that even though he is young, he is a veteran sheep breeder and is able to breed sheep in any color or pattern! Perhaps we will be able to as well. Angus also lets us know to be on the lookout for his Ram escapee in the English Countryside.

We first were introduced to Angus when we were gifted one of his Polka Dotted Sheep.

“Sure I’m young, but I can breed sheep in any color or pattern. Unfortunately, my ram has escaped! If you see him in the English Countryside, catch him! -Angus”

Feed Limit Raised

FarmVille and Zynga announced that they have increased the maximum number of items that can be collected from the feed on a daily basis from 125 to 200, effective immediately. This announcement comes VIA the FarmVille Official Forums and Community Manager Stumpgrinder.


They seem to be getting some great results with limiting the items collected VIA news feeds and report that the availability of feed items has grown tremendously and our players have collected more unique and interesting items from FarmVille feeds than ever before. Below is the blurb we found:

FarmVille Falabella Foal Scam Notice

Yet another FarmVille Scam seems to be plaguing Facebook!

Seems as though there is a new one. This scam post will ask you to adopt a foal called the “Falabella Foal”. Upon clicking “Adopt the Falabella Foal”, you will be taken to a different page of FarmVille Bonuses.

We advise you to block any applications that seem suspicious or unusual immediately. Better safe than sorry!

Collections ending?

After over a year of being in FarmVille, Collections might be taken away from the game, a forum thread rumor suggests. Players are asking around on the FarmVille forums whether this feature might be removed from the farm after a user posted the above image. It shows the Needlepoint, an item from one of the game's permanent Collections, and reads, "Hurry to find more Needlepoint items, the Country Kitsch Collection won't be here for--"

The message within the pop-up cuts off after that. Oddly enough, the image of the Needlepoint is not found on the pop-up, but is replaced by a white box, which could lead skeptics to believe this is a hoax. However, this could just as easily be a loading glitch. FarmVille community manager Stumpgrinder chimed in with, "I haven't heard about these being withdrawn... I think that message has been up there for awhile though."

While it would be wise to trust a community manager, his response doesn't explain the far clearer image above. This time, a player found this pop-up claiming that another permanent Collection, the Bugs Collection, would be going away soon as well. Still fake? You decide, but you might want to turn in any Collections you have lying around before the feature potentially goes kaput.

SCAM 6

We're not sure what's going on, but a massive number of FarmVille scams are currently circulating the news feeds. The latest one takes advantage of players who are trying to collect Lucky Pennies for their Wishing Wells. The scam looks very similar to a legitimate FarmVille wall post in that the image and the text are very similar, however the "Get Lucky" link leads players to a different fanpage in an effort to get them to "like" the page.

The best ways to identify which ones of these are spam to first to check the text: the above gray text misspells the word "wishing" as "wisshing". The second way is to hover over the "Get Lucky" link to see where it will take you. In this case, you can see that instead of taking you to the FarmVille application (http://apps.facebook.com/onthefarm/), the link leads to a "FarmVille Bonus" fan page.

Another of these scams says it's by "FarmVille Latest" and takes you to a FarmVille Neighbors Club fanpage:

Always double check where a news feed post is going to take you. Remember there are no third-party fan pages that have access to give out Lucky Pennies, or any FarmVille item. If it isn't the official FarmVille application, it isn't legitimate.
